Title: Headless Halloween
Author: R. L. Stine
Publisher: Scholastic
ISBN: 059056885X
Ages: 8
to 12
If you like
the Goosebumps series, you’ll love this book. It is
an “earthquaking” story and horribly scary, so be prepared.
Brandon loves
scaring kids. He thinks it’s funny to “Make ‘em
scream.” So, on Halloween, he dresses up by buttoning his shirt
over his head and going out as a headless freak. But, there are
surprises in store for Brandon. When he goes to a spooky Halloween
party where bobbing for rats and doughnuts full of worms are part
of the fun, he really gets the creeps. Then, while walking through
a cemetery, he is scared out of his wits when a hand pops-up out
of nowhere.
The end of
this book will have you squirming with fright. Stine has done
a horrific job with this book.
